So of course, when you are graduating high school and going into college, everyone wants to know what you are majoring in. I want to be a special education teacher because it is the one way to directly impact and develop a new generation of thinking individuals. Being a goal oriented person, I have high expectations for myself as teacher and for my students. Coupled with tons of patience, I am sure I will be able to gel with my students and train them in the required subject areas and short and long term goals.
Great teachers empathize with kids, respect them, and believe that each one has something special that can be built upon. As an aspiring teacher this quote promotes the ambition of mine, as my ultimate goal is to work with child and to become a primary teacher. I very much enjoy being around children and would love to be able to teach them valuable life lessons during their time in primary school in addition to the content of the national curriculum. This will help them grow emotionally and mentally into mature young people and it is this that I want to be a part of. My classroom will be student-centered.
