Pre-School

Available for children from 2 until school entry

Pre-Schools offer care to children in their local community, either as a morning or afternoon session or as extended sessions including lunch. They are often run by voluntary groups but can also be run by private individuals/ companies. Care is provided for children aged from two to until school entry and they are usually open during term time only.

Early Years Education funding is available to eligible families of two year olds and all three and four year olds are entitled to some free early years education
